Our 3 days Samburu adventure safari enables you to sample one of the unique destinations in Kenya, where you’ll witness a variety of wildlife. You will appreciate starting with the Equator, wildlife found in the North. You start by enjoying a drive through the central Kenya highlands as you enjoy the pineapple plantations on your way north.This agricultural rich region will also lead you to small scale coffee farms in Nyeri. As you near the equator, you will notice a change in topography as this area is more flat with less vegetation. On a clear day you will be in a position to marvel at the views of the peaks of Africa’s second highest mountain-Mt.Kenya. You will stop at the equator for a brief photo session before heading to Samburu game reserve for your 3 days Samburu adventure safari. This region is unique because of its arid climate with wildlife only found here. This safari allows you to spot the ‘Samburu 5‘ in their natural habitat.

After breakfast depart for a drive north passing through the heart of central Kenya to Samburu Game Reserve with a brief stop at the Equator where you may do a simple water test to ascertain the magnetic effect on the northern & southern sphere. Continue to Samburu set in the rugged semi-arid northern region with spectacular scenic landscape. Arrive in time for lunch at your preferred choice of accommodation and some leisure time. later in the afternoon head out on an exciting game-viewing drive thereafter return for dinner and overnight.

Full day in Samburu Game Reserve with morning and afternoon game viewing drives, in search of animals found only north of the equator such as long necked Gerenuk, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx and the Somali Ostrich. The EwasoNyiro River dotted with doom palms, acacia and giant fig trees meanders through the reserve. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

After a sumptuous breakfast, you will check out and then proceed with the drive back to Nairobi.
There are no activities planned for the final day and you are able to depart the accommodation at any time.
